Commercial Account Executive

Our success in the marketplace has made Connect Insurance Brokers Ltd one of the leaders in the Insurance sector.
The successful candidate will develop a bank of leads and ultimately convert these prospects into new business whilst establishing effective relationships. You will be actively involved in the broking of new business to market, liaising with insurers and negotiating the best possible terms. You will be responsible for dealing with a wide range of classes of commercial business including Combined, Package, Fleet and Trade amongst others. These clients will generally be SME businesses but there will also be exposure to larger commercial risks when required.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude combined with a solid experience in the insurance industry who is looking to join a progressive business that will help you to achieve your career goals. Prospective applicants must have excellent relationship management and sales skills in addition to general commercial insurance knowledge. You will have enthusiasm and a professional attitude.
The applicant should:
- Have experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to work effectively and professionally with colleagues at all levels.
- Be well organised and work well under pressure.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must be motivated with good customer service skills.
